Description

BenePlas Pro has unique qualities that make it perfect for upper and lower extremity positioning splints and paediatric, non-weight bearing AFOs. Its also ideal for abnormal tone conditions or joint contractures when patients are unable to cooperate. It has a slightly sticky surface when warm, which helps it stay in place to assist in creating an intimate fit. No solvent is required and a permanent bond is achieved by applying dry heat and pinching it together. The finished splint requires no reinforcement as the splint has maximum rigidity and holds its shape against the pull strong dynamic components and hyper tonicity. The combined drape with controlled, resistive stretch of BenePlas Pro allows aggressive, firm handling to form a rigid splint that conforms perfectly to the body.

Review of hand support

I ordered a small. I find it too long so that the hand support part bit is pushed forward. Also the fastenings are too long that they stick out and get caught in everything. I find them difficult to wear because of these issues.

Hi Dianne, thank you for your feedback. The same support is available in a 7' length, which might suit you better. The size you ordered refers to the circumference, not the length.
As for the fastenings, they can be trimmed to your preferred length once you've determined what works best.

Sizing

The product is good but there should have been a choice of size when ordering as i have not been able to use the size i receivef ((slim build fit limb 11.5”)
